📍JAMAICA — ISLANDWIDE
KFC Jamaica turned up the heat this Wednesday as Jamaicans across the island lined up from as early as 5:00 AM, well before the usual 10:00 AM opening, to cash in on the franchise’s massive 50th anniversary promotion. The crowd? Unreal.
In celebration of its golden milestone, KFC offered a “buy a Big Deal, get a Meal Deal FREE” speciallimited to five per customer, of course. But that didn’t stop the flood of fried chicken lovers from showing up in droves at locations including Crossroads, King Street in Downtown Kingston, and Drax Hall in St Ann.
One family of four even drove from Golden Grove, St Ann, to the Drax Hall branch and was third in line at the drive-thru. They shared that they’d be spending $15,000 JMD on chicken alone talk about finger-lickin’ commitment!
Even local personalities joined in. Popular TikToker and recording artist Pops YG was literally camping outside a KFC store waiting for the doors to open. Once inside, it was a packed house as people continued pouring in, grabbing deals well into the afternoon.
⚠️ ONGOING BUZZ
As the day continues, KFC lines remain long and the demand shows no sign of slowing down. With only a limited number of free deals per customer, anticipation and energy remain high across the country.
