Two Drivers Killed in Head-On Collision on North-South Highway

Two people were killed in a head-on collision along the North-South Highway near the Angels exit in St Catherine on Friday night. Police reports indicate that the accident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m., involved two Subaru motor cars.

Preliminary investigations suggest that one of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction, leading to the fatal crash. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released.

The North-South Highway, a major roadway connecting Kingston to Ocho Rios, has been the site of several deadly accidents in recent years, often linked to speeding or reckless driving.
