The MasterMac Group of Companies has officially opened its newest supermarket on Constant Spring Road in St Andrew, marking a major expansion milestone for the family-owned distribution and retail chain.
Founded in 1988, the company now operates 15 locations across Jamaica, including five supermarkets and five wholesale outlets. Managing Director Raymond McMaster said the new Constant Spring store is the company’s largest and most modern to date.
The new branch, which includes a deli and bakery, was developed over four years and completed despite challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and rising construction costs.
McMaster explained that the group’s supermarkets play a dual role—serving individual shoppers while also supporting the company’s wholesale distribution network.
The new location also complements MasterMac’s online shopping platform, www.mastermacfood.com, which allows customers to order groceries locally or internationally for pickup or delivery.
Located near major Corporate Area roads, the Constant Spring store reflects MasterMac’s strategy to combine accessibility, technology, and quality service for Jamaican consumers.
