Popular Jamaican TikToker Rosealee has gone viral after emotionally revealing on TikTok Live that her baby father, Jake, stole her bank card and phone and allegedly used the funds to pay for escort services.
In her tearful confession, Rosealee said she became suspicious after receiving SMS alerts from Scotiabank showing $30,000 JMD missing, including a $20,000 withdrawal. After retrieving her phone, she discovered intimate text messages between Jake and another woman discussing sexual acts, with Jake making graphic comments about the woman’s private parts.
“Mommy mi need yuh! Nobody nuh deh yah fi help mi,” she cried on TikTok, devastated and alone.
She attempted to get police help to remove him from her home, but officers informed her that because Jake has lived at the residence for over five years, he has rights under Jamaica’s common-law marriage laws. Without proper notice of eviction, she cannot legally force him out immediately.
⚠️ ONGOING SITUATION
As of now, Jake has not admitted to the cheating, and Rosealee is reportedly still trying to resolve the legal issue while navigating intense emotional trauma. Social media has rallied behind her, demanding justice and offering support.
What Rosealee is going through is more than just relationship drama—it’s betrayal, theft, and legal entrapment. Her breakdown on TikTok is a cry not just for emotional support, but for awareness of how common-law laws can trap women in unsafe living situations. Jamaica needs more education, more support systems, and easier access to emergency removal protocols in domestic disputes.
